Sorry I have not Wrote in a couple of days.
I have been out doing things and spending money that I don't have!

I have to study for the GED test Saturday.
So I might or might not post to much this week.

However,
I never knew how much toys cost till I went to buy Colby Christmas! As of right now I have only got him about 10 or 11 things and that was just about $100 bucks!

Well I have nothing to write about.. Other then just going on about nothing like I have done. So I will go now.

Always,
Kt Mae

Katie, at his age, you don't really need to spend much on him. He would probably be happy with just the wrapping paper so don't go all out until they get older. Just enjoy Christmas for what it's for, fun traditions and family.

10 or 11 things! When I was a kid we got rocks.

Lots of rocks.

We used to pray that we'd get some coal instead of rocks so we could keep our cave warm! (That of course was after uncle Ernie invented fire)

It was cold walking to school in bare feet, in the snow, up-hill for five miles both ways! And do you think dad or mom could have warmed up the brontosaurus to drive us????

Noooooo! Of course not!

If you got him 10 or 11 things, you did really well! Kids are so much fun at Christmas time - everything's so exciting for them, and they're so happy. You're going to have the best Christmas ever this year :)

You know what the thing about kids Colby's age is, they dont care what they get. You can get them 1 or 2 things, and its fine. They dont complain, they dont whine about not getting too many gifts.

I even find that with my 3 and 4 year old neices. If they get the ONE thing they were desperate for, they dont care about anything else. That's really the trick with kids. Find the one thing that they cant live without, get that, and they're so thrilled, they dont care if they get anything else. I told my sister about this, and we;ve all capitalized on it.

At least you don't have to worry about buying Colby the latest version of Xbox! Can you believe having to spend $300-$400 for that thing?

I love buying toys/clothes for the little ones. For some reason that's a lot more fun than buying for the older kids. Maybe it's just me?
